Welcome to North West Orthodontics
North West Orthodontics is nestled in the heart of Marple Bridge, Stockport. We offer private, specialist orthodontic treatment to patients from near and far, delivering bespoke plans to children, teens, and adults. Our two orthodontic specialists, Laura and Liam, are committed to helping you create a healthy, confident smile that will last a lifetime.
We offer a range of fixed braces to help you achieve a straighter, healthier smile. Our options include traditional metal braces for a durable and cost-effective solution, as well as clear ceramic braces for a more discreet treatment option.
Removable appliances can be used for certain simple cases. One of their benefits is the ease of removal for cleaning, making them an excellent choice for children. At our practice, we offer a range of removable appliances to address a variety of dental issues, tailored specifically to each child's needs and treatment goals.
Clear aligners are a nearly invisible orthodontic treatment that use a series of custom-made aligners to gradually straighten teeth. Invisalign is a popular brand of clear aligners, designed to be removable for easy eating and cleaning.
Functional appliances, such as Twin Blocks, are commonly used in children to correct large overjets, where the upper front teeth protrude beyond the lower front teeth. Twin blocks consist of upper and lower removable parts, that clip around the teeth and work together to get the top and bottom teeth to meet more closely.
Retainers are essential for maintaining teeth in their new position after orthodontic treatment. They can be fixed or removable depending on the patient's needs. Removable retainers are worn at night, while fixed retainers remain in place long-term. We offer a range of retainers and will develop a customised retention plan to ensure your teeth stay in their desired position.
Meet the Team
Many thanks for accepting me as your patient and skilfully transforming my crooked teeth into good shape.
It has been a real morale booster for me and it shows. I feel less self-conscious in talking and smiling.
